Born in Aomori City in 1948.
He started Japanese painting at the age of 19. He has submitted his works to public exhibitions and won many prizes.
At the age of 26, he exhibited at the Nitten Japanese Painting Section for the first time and was selected for the first time, and has since been selected a total of three times.
Later, he became interested in Hon'ami Koetsu and began creating abstract paintings in the Rinpa style.
Without being limited to particular materials, he experiments with a wide range of techniques including oil painting and collage.
In 1999, he exhibited his work at the Frankfurt Fair.
Since 2000, he has lived and worked in Frankfurt, Germany.
In recent years, he has been presenting a wide variety of works, from large-scale works of 20m and 50m to those that combine the techniques of Japanese painting with oil painting. He is also working on spiritual motifs based on the Zen spirit.
He has lived in Berlin since 2007.
