Japan is a long country surrounded by the sea, stretching from north to south. It is a beautiful country with four seasons, but it is also prone to natural disasters. This year, on New Year's Day, a major earthquake struck the Noto Peninsula, and the New Year began with sad news that reached all of Japan.
In Kanazawa and Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture, where many artisans working in traditional Japanese crafts live, there are many artisans who have supported Ippodo and who have also been affected by the disaster.
This time, in order to support the artists and craftspeople of the Noto Peninsula, we will be displaying beautiful works as part of the Ippodo Crafts Exhibition.
● We have also prepared a donation box for supporters. (Donations will be transferred to the exhibitors.)
