In search of the true nature of sound
There is sound in Matsubara Ken's works. This phenomenon of "there is sound" is a very mysterious experience. Sound should be something that you can "hear". Indeed, you can hear the sound from the expression of the painting. However, there is a scene that cannot be described by that alone that can be enjoyed from Matsubara-sensei's works. The true nature of the sound that Ippodo staff member Okamura Yohei sensed in Matsubara Ken's atelier.
