日本の伝統的漆芸を守りながら、現代の先端科学を用いて、今まで見たこともない超微細な螺鈿に挑戦。
作品には、レーザーカッターで0.08mmという薄さにまで切り出した数字などの細密な螺鈿を施す。
遺跡や宗教建築のような、細密の集積が生み出す荘厳さを表現する。
