In 1993 I devoted a year to carving the work "Boat of Judgment"
In the studio I place this work, which is drawing closer to nature, beside my new works
I have taken on many themes, and at last arrived at "Jaki"
Trembling through its whole body as it bears its load: is it despair, or hope?
And where is the boat bound?
