On Thursday, March 13th, 2025, Ippodo Gallery New York will have a new start in TriBeCa, New York.

Ippodo Gallery New York has relocated from Manhattan's Upper East Side to New York's historic TriBeCa district and will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
The gallery opened in 2008 as Ippodo's first foray into overseas markets, and will now write a new chapter in its 17-year history as a bridge between Japan's traditional crafts and arts.

To commemorate the grand opening, the museum will be holding its first exhibition since moving to TriBeCa, "Light and Abundance: Gold in Japanese Art," from Thursday, March 13th to April 17th.
The latest works by 14 artists, including lacquer, metalwork, Japanese painting, and ceramics, will be on display, and Japanese painter Kaori Someya will be in attendance at the opening reception.

Let's celebrate Ippodo Gallery New York's new beginning and Ippodo's new step together.
