前田宏智

Hirotomi Maeda

・Born in Ishikawa Prefecture.
After graduating from Kanazawa College of Art, he completed his graduate studies in design at the Graduate School of Crafts.
He has taught at Kanazawa College of Art, Kanazawa Utatsuyama Craft Studio, and Tokyo University of the Arts, and is currently a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts.
-Trained in the UK, Denmark, Germany, France and the Netherlands thanks to the Sato Fund for the Promotion of Arts and Crafts.
-Full member of the Japan Crafts Council and member of the Japan Jewelry Designers Association.
- Numerous awards received.

1994: Takamatsunomiya Memorial Award at the 41st Japanese Traditional Crafts Exhibition
