Born in Gifu Prefecture in 1972 (Grandfather: printmaker Sumio Kawakami)
1988: Started making pottery under his father, Yoshihiko Yoshida
2000: First submission to the Chubu National Exhibition, received an Encouragement Award
2001: First exhibition at the National Exhibition, won an Encouragement Award. First solo exhibition at Tobu Utsunomiya Department Store.
2002: Winner of the 40th Anniversary Chubukokuga Award
2008: Received the Newcomer Award at the Chubu National Exhibition
2009: Received the Newcomer Award from the Kokugakai Fellows
2011: Recommended as an associate member of the Kokugakai
2012 MINO CERAMICS NOW 2012 exhibition
