A mysterious mass with a rough texture, transparent yet opaque, and yet harboring light within its appearance. A material that is both glass and not glass, and holds hidden possibilities. Seeking shapes that are simple yet evoke unseen images, I explore the molding of glass through casting.
1957 Born in Kawachinagano, Osaka Prefecture.
After graduating from Kanazawa College of Art in 1980, he studied glass techniques at the Tokyo Glass Art Institute.
