Shinobu Kawase

1950
He was born in Oiso, Kanagawa Prefecture as the eldest son of the second Takeharu.
1968
He began making pottery under his grandfather (the first Takeharu) and father.
1976
He held his first solo exhibition (contemporary ceramics, Kando-ri, Akasaka), and since then has focused on solo exhibitions.
1981 Received the Japan Ceramic Society Award
1985: First solo exhibition at Kochukyo (Nihonbashi).
1996
Exhibited “CONTEMPORARY JAPANESE CRAFTS” (Japan Foundation Traveling Exhibition)
2003
Exhibited at the "The World of White Porcelain and Celadon" exhibition (Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum)
2005
Solo exhibition at "International Asian Art Fair" (Joan.B.Mirviss Ltd) (NY)
2006
Submitted to the "1st Musee Tomo Grand Prize Contemporary Tea Ceremony Exhibition" (Musee Tomo, Kikuchi Kanmi Memorial)
