The Japan Blue samurai wore the Yatagarasu emblem and fought across the sea.
Their brave performance caused joy throughout Japan.

Now, Ippodo's annual "Flying Birds Exhibition" is now in its 8th year.
The title's origin is "the power to shoot down any bird in flight."
The flying bird is the artist, the dropping bird is the collector.
The exhibition features masterpieces by 29 artists, each with their own techniques and fresh sensibilities, including birds that are just about to take flight, birds that have already flown and are active around the world, and birds that have returned after studying abroad.
Artists who protect and pass on the Japanese spirit and culture. They too are Japan Blue samurai, continuing their solitary, steady creative endeavors.
Go for it! Flying birds, Nippon cha cha cha!
