Works created by Daisuke Nakano

Nihonga painter Daisuke Nakano paints with a delicate and dynamic method of expression achieved through painstaking effort. His is a distinctive style that fills the entire space, inspired by the use of gold and silver leaf in the manner of Ito Jakuchu and the Rinpa school. By stopping time at the moment of nature's overwhelming power and life's very peak, he expresses the passing and transience of the natural world, in which even flowers in full bloom will scatter and return to the earth.
