Sudden moment
Somewhere deep inside my body
You may be aware of the wind
My neurons are resonating
Chain of creation and destruction
Traveling back in time
The coming sight
When the location changes, the assembly and center of gravity also change.
With endless affection in my heart
The journey to find light stability
To be continued.

Mitsukuni Misaki

Mitsukuni Misaki was studying law at university at the age of 21 when he met Fujio Koyama and decided to pursue pottery.
Misaki's work gives the impression of the horizon of the ocean and the land.
By repeatedly painting and carving the generous shapes, gentle works are born.
He received the Chichibunomiya Citation at the 12th Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition in 1993 and the Kikuchi Biennale Grand Prize in 2013.
Even though it's become a hot topic, Misaki doesn't change at all.
He works sincerely and quietly in his Fugen Kiln studio in Chiba.
Roscoe's abstract ceramics will be coming to Ginza Ippodo again this year.
