Yoshihashi Kankodo

Born in 1959
After graduating from Ritsumeikan University, he worked for mounters in Kyoto and Tokyo.
Decisively influenced by Ichiryu Kataoka, a pioneer of modern mounters at Nihonbashi Ichigado
1989: Opened as Kankodo
Taking inspiration from early mountings from the Muromachi and Edo periods, we are trying to mount works using antique fabrics from around the world.
