Hideo Kageyama

Hideo Kageyama

Hideo Kageyama creates weaving with a sincere attitude, with the motto of "making the most of the texture of the material." He weaves firmly, bringing out the unique characteristics of each fiber, such as lustrous silk, soft cotton, and firm linen.
In the past, Japanese painters in Kamakura during the Showa period preferred to wear kimonos made by Toshio Kageyama (the first generation).
