Born in Shiga Prefecture in 1977. Grandfather is Seiemon Tani.
After graduating from the 3D modeling class at Seian University of Art and Design in 2000, he accompanied sculptor Katsushige Nakahashi to exhibitions both in Japan and abroad as his assistant.
2001: Received training in potter's wheel from Kitamura Kizan's second son, Kitamura Juzo, and training in anagama kiln from the eldest son, the second generation Kizan.
He then worked at his family business, Seiemon Pottery Studio.
2007: Built a double-bore anagama kiln, a type commonly seen in medieval Shigaraki.
2012 Construction of the current single-chamber anagama kiln.
2014 Participated in the "Project to Foster New Artists in the Art and Crafts Field Using University Art Museums"
2015 Built the Ittekoi Kiln
