Masataka Fukuda

福田正孝

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1954.
After graduating from Kogakuin University, he entered the world of woodworking, creating handmade furniture and window displays.
Began working as a professional knife maker in 1988.
1997: Masataka Fukuda Custom Knife Exhibition (Ichihodo Gallery/Tokyo) (also held in '00, '02, '10)
He is one of Japan's leading knife makers and has received numerous awards.
