Comment from Ippodo

Takayoshi Toki's "USAGI" from the foot of Mount Fuji brings you "UMA"
I took him to Ginza.
Toki aspired to be a painter from an early age, and studied at Tokyo University of the Arts.
He studied under Professors Yasuo and Gyoji Nomiyama and served as an assistant after graduation.
Next year's zodiac sign is the horse, so I suggested making a horse.
I was the one who did it, and I found out that there was a horse next to his studio.
I said it lightly.
I heard that Toji Sensei had been suffering for a year and a half.
Reflecting on this, I visited the studio in October and was deeply moved.
It was Toki Takayoshi's "UMA."
Renaissance artists were painters and sculptors
As you can see, the ten o'clock is carved and then a picture is painted on top of it.
When did this technique start?
In this season when snow accumulates on Mount Fuji,
"USAGI" and "UMA" appeared.
