Hiraku Sudo won the Matsushita Konosuke Memorial Award at the 54th Japan Traditional Crafts Kinki Exhibition.
From the patterns on the shikifusa to the three-dimensional wrinkles, Mr. Sudo's metalwork was highly praised for reproducing the exceptional details.
