We are looking for people who will help us spread the beauty of Japanese arts and crafts to the world. We will support the wonderful artists and carefully explain each piece to the world.

Ginza Ippodo's Activities

The company opened its first gallery on Zakurozaka in Takanawa in 1996. In 2000, it opened its second store in Gotenyama, and the following year, opened Ippodo Ginza. In 2008, it opened Ippodo New York in New York, USA, and began expanding globally. In 2012, it closed its Zakurozaka gallery, and with that, Ippodo Ginza expanded to the basement floor, widening the scope of its projects.
In the past, we have participated in various art fairs, including international art fairs such as Design Miami and Milano Salone, as well as the Tokyo Art Fair and craft exhibitions, and have also been commissioned to exhibit our works at numerous companies, hotels, and museums.
While not being limited to the framework of crafts alone, Ippodo is working to open the "door to harmony" in Japan and around the world, by learning about traditions and preserving the worldviews, techniques and objects of makers and artists.
