Works created by Terumasa Ikeda

While preserving Japan's traditional lacquer art, we are using modern cutting-edge science to attempt to create ultra-fine mother-of-pearl never before seen.
The piece features intricate mother-of-pearl inlay, including numbers, cut to a thickness of just 0.08 mm using a laser cutter.
It expresses the majesty created by the accumulation of intricate details, such as those found in ruins or religious architecture.
