鞆岡隆史

京都に生まれた鞆岡は、小さい頃から竹籠職人の父と竹薮に通った。小さい頃から絵が大好きで「絵なのか写真なのか分からない二次元の写実的絵画世界」に惹かれた。ラファエロやダヴィンチを模写し、京都では日本画、水墨画、仏像を沢山観た。
高校生のとき花屋で働き、大学時代に庭師とともに造園の仕事を寺々の庭の植木をした。写実的絵画と植物。この２つの世界を愛してきた鞆岡が、大学のときデザイン科で写真に出会った。
現在東京で自ら花を育てながら「絵のような写真」を撮る。その写真は、デジタルカメラで描かれた現代の日本画であり、今日の琳派（RIMPA）である。
