Artist's comment

I have been writing for 50 years now.
I finally feel like I've settled on a more relaxed kana.
I would be delighted if you would view these subtle kana characters as "kana art," the art of lines.
This time, I created the Japanese character "Heart Sutra in Hiragana."
When it's hard, when it's good, when it's sad, when it's happy,
I hope that these words can become a companion to you in any situation.
I deliberately imagined the expressionless face of Kannon for the characters.
Please take a look at it.

Comment from Ippodo

I am fascinated by Kana's elegant beauty.
The kana of the Heian period has been beautifully revived,
We are getting closer to the roots of Japanese beauty.
